Heena Patel

Heena Patel currently serves as the Manager of the Research Pharmacy Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a position held since October 2010. In this role, Heena oversees the preparation and dispensation of research medications, manages inventory, and ensures compliance with over 250 oncology research protocols. Responsibilities include authoring dispensing guidelines, training research staff, and participating in site qualifications and monitoring visits. Additionally, Heena served as a CDM skill preceptor at Northeastern University from January 2016 to December 2018, where the focus was on training fifth-year pharmacy students in clinical skills and effective communication within healthcare teams. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Diploma in Pharmacy from L.M. College of Pharmacy.
