Lorraine Britting

Lorraine Britting is a seasoned cardiology nurse practitioner and clinical director at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, with a focus on inpatient and interventional services since March 2008. In addition to clinical practice, Lorraine serves as a legal nurse consultant for multiple law firms and has experience as an expert witness in medical malpractice cases. Lorraine's academic contributions include teaching undergraduate nursing courses and precepting graduate nurse practitioner candidates. Previous roles include clinical manager for a hospitalist program and critical care nursing. Lorraine holds a Master’s degree in Primary Care Nursing from Simmons University and a Bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Vermont. Additionally, Lorraine completed the highly selective Sloane Fellows leadership program, enhancing leadership skills and networking capabilities within the medical field.
