Mary O'Connell

Mary O'Connell has extensive experience in clinical documentation and case management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since August 2015, Mary focuses on enhancing the quality and completeness of clinical documentation while collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate reimbursement. Mary has held key roles at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Nurse Case Manager and previously worked as a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist at Tufts Medical Center. Earlier in her career, Mary served in various positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, including Director of Case Management, Nurse Manager, and Case Manager.
