Yuri Quintana, PhD, FACMI, currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where responsibilities include leading research and educational training programs while overseeing operational and financial functions. In addition, Yuri holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, focusing on various areas within clinical informatics and global health information systems. Notable past roles include Director of Global Health Informatics, Co-Chief of Division of Clinical Informatics at BIDMC, and Director of Education and Informatics at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Yuri has also contributed significantly to IEEE through leadership roles and as a Senior Member, and has held academic positions at the University of Victoria and the University of Western Ontario. Yuri Quintana obtained a PhD in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
