Alexa B. Kimball

Alexa B. Kimball, MD, MPH, serves as the CEO and President of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. since August 2016 and is a Professor at Harvard Medical School. Additionally, Alexa holds board member positions at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Beth Israel Lahey Health, where responsibilities include Vice Chair of the IT Committee and membership in the Finance Committee. Previously, Alexa was the Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer of Massachusetts General Physicians Organization from 2004 to 2016 and held several senior leadership roles within the organization. Education credentials include an MD from Yale School of Medicine, an MPH in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Fellowship in Clinical Trials from the National Cancer Institute. Alexa completed a Dermatology Residency Program at Stanford University and holds an AB in Molecular Biology from Princeton University, along with a certificate from the Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs.
