Richard Mills is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in digital marketing and public relations. Currently serving as Chief of Marketing & Engagement and previously as Director of Corporate Communications at Bethany Children's Health Center, Richard has successfully managed social media platforms and spearheaded content creation processes. Prior roles include Senior Communications Specialist at Love's Travel Stops, where Richard focused on corporate communications, and as an Internal Communications and Public Relations Associate at Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, where Richard implemented an internal communications infrastructure. Richard's early experiences include internships with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Devon Energy, contributing to public relations and corporate communications efforts. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations & Nonprofit Organizations from the University of Oklahoma.

Bethany Children's Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care. The hospital offers inpatient and outpatient services for children (ages 0-21) and is the only inpatient pediatric rehabilitation facility in Oklahoma. Our CARF accredited multidisciplinary team works with patients and their families to maximize the patient’s physical and cognitive potential, and ensure the family has the training and resources needed for a smooth transition from hospital to home.
