Dr. Kimberly M. Offutt

National Director Of Family Support And Engagement at Bethany Christian Services

Dr. Kimberly M. Offutt has a diverse work experience in the field of family support and engagement. Dr. Kimberly M. began their career as a Child Welfare Specialist at the Glynn County Department of Family and Children Services, where they worked from 1999 to 2003. Dr. Kimberly M. then joined Bethany Christian Services, starting as a Foster Care and Adoption Recruiter in 2003 and progressing to become the MARE Adoption Worker from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2013, they served as the Project Open Arms Coordinator, responsible for coordinating adoption services. Dr. Kimberly M. was then promoted to the position of National Foster Care Adoption Director, where they led a nationwide recruitment campaign and managed a federal demonstration grant called "Operation Forever Family" from 2013 to 2020. Since 2020, Dr. Offutt has been working as the National Director of Family Support and Engagement, overseeing family support and engagement initiatives at Bethany Christian Services. In addition to their extensive experience in the industry, Dr. Offutt also owns and operates their own consulting firm named Offutt Strategies & Solutions, Inc., which they started in 2019.

Dr. Kimberly M. Offutt earned a Doctor of Theology degree in Christian Education from the Midwest College of Theology from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Offutt also holds a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development, which they completed at Georgia Southern University from 1995 to 1999.
