Matthew Shawver

Matthew Shawver is an experienced professional in juvenile justice and direct care services with a comprehensive background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Probation Officer IV and Youth Specialist Supervisor at Montgomery County Juvenile Courts since June 2006, Matthew provides supervision in a 24/7 Juvenile Community Correctional Facility, manages documentation for internal and state records, and has previously held roles as a Unit Counselor, focusing on youth development and progress tracking. In addition, Matthew has worked as a Direct Care Worker at Graceworks Lutheran Services since July 2013, assisting MR/DD residents with self-help skills and regulatory compliance. Previous experience includes serving as Defensive Coordinator for Fairborn Skyhawks Football, a Loss Prevention Detective at Macy's, and an Associate Program Director at Chrysalis Inc. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science in University Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho and attended Sinclair Community College.
