Glenda Burkeen Wothers is an experienced nursing educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bethel University of Tennessee since February 2023. Previously, Wothers held the position of Clinical Instructor at East Tennessee State University from August 2020 to June 2023 and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Memphis, specifically within the Center for Research in Educational Policy, from August 2015 to August 2020. Additional teaching experience includes roles as a Clinical Nursing Instructor (adjunct) at Dyersburg State Community College and The University of Memphis between August 2013 and May 2014. Wothers earned a Master's degree in Nursing Education from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
