Magda Silva is an experienced professional with a strong background in community engagement and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Senior Community Engagement Representative for Be The Match, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, Magda has focused on donor recruitment and development in Oregon and Washington since 2008. Additionally, Magda has been a Board Member of the Migrant Students Foundation since 2013, advocating for migrant farmworker families. As the Founder of the Latina Literature Project from 2004 to 2010, Magda developed a mentorship program aimed at encouraging at-risk Latina youth to engage with literature by introducing them to books authored by Latinas. Earlier experience includes serving as a Team In Training Campaign Manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, where responsibilities included account management and fundraising. Magda holds a Fundamentals of Fundraising Certificate from the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has undergone transformational education at Landmark.
