Rich Fleischer, CEM, MPP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rich began their career as an Associate Scientist at XOMA, where they conducted research on infectious diseases. After that, they worked at Bayer as a Senior Associate Research Scientist, gaining experience in emergency response, earthquake management, and drug development. Following their time at Bayer, Fleischer joined MedImmune as an Associate Scientist, focusing on respiratory diseases and hazardous material response. Rich then transitioned to the brewing industry, founding Hook & Ladder Brewing and serving as Brewmaster. In this role, they managed all aspects of the brewing process and implemented corporate donation programs. Fleischer later joined Booz Allen Hamilton as an Emergency Preparedness Specialist, where they led Homeland Security exercises and coordinated with interagency partners for special security events. Most recently, they worked at HWC Inc. as a Senior Associate, specializing in exercise delivery and facilitation. Fleischer currently serves as a Project Manager at LMI.

Rich Fleischer, CEM, MPP holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Rochester, which they obtained between 1989 and 1993. Later, they pursued their education at the University of Maryland and completed their Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree in International Security & Economic Policy in 2006.
