Bethlehem Inn
Bethlehem Inn's mission is to transform lives together through shelter, help and hope for adults and children in Central Oregon struggling with homelessness and poverty. Bethlehem Inn is a private nonprofit that provides an inclusive, safe, secure, and accountable environment for adults and families through the provision of a high-barrier emergency shelter and circumstance-related programs and services. Residents staying at the Inn’s Bend and Redmond shelters receive individualized case management services to assist them in their transition from crisis to stability. Without safe, stable housing, adults and children experiencing homelessness are in a vulnerable state; more susceptible to serious health and safety risks. Case managers work with residents to address many of the ecological, psychological, and physiological determinants of homelessness unique to their situation. They often require specific supports and interventions on their path to autonomy. Inn case managers increase residents’ access to local partner agencies including mental health and counseling services along with housing and employment opportunities.
