Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith is an experienced professional in sports compliance and education, currently serving as the Manager of Trading Compliance at BetMGM since September 2022. In addition to this role, Andrew Smith has been an Adjunct Professor at American University since July 2015, teaching a course on Digital Enterprises in Sports within the new Master’s in Sports Analytics and Management Program. Prior experience includes various compliance roles within Fordham University’s Athletic Department, overseeing student-athlete eligibility and NCAA regulations, as well as positions in sports journalism and coaching. Andrew Smith holds an MBA in Management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communications from Boston College.
