Mikko Wirkkala

Mikko Wirkkala is an experienced financial leader currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Betolar since September 2024. Prior to this role, Mikko Wirkkala held various senior positions at Neste from February 2008 to September 2024, including Vice President of Group Finance, Head of Group Consolidation, and Director roles in Planning & Control for Renewable Products and Business Control for Oil Retail, as well as Business Controller for Specialty Products. Mikko Wirkkala began the career at Fortum from June 2002 to February 2008, holding roles as Controller and Assistant Controller in Corporate Business Control. Educationally, Mikko Wirkkala holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, with a major in Accounting and minors in IT, law, finance, organisations & leadership, and quantitative methods, and also has experience from Linköping University.
