João Duarte

João Duarte is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur, currently serving as CTO and co-founder of Trybe, a web development school focused on fostering student success through an innovative payment model. In addition, João co-founded Pádua Ventures, which invests in transformative companies. Previous roles include Engineering Manager and Data Science Manager at Somos Educação, and CTO and co-founder of AppProva, where a free testing platform was developed for Brazilian students. João also co-founded Tecto Inteligência de Dados and founded Fores.ee, a cloud-based demand forecasting tool. Experience includes a brief tenure as an alumnus at Google Launchpad Accelerator, coupled with research roles at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Educational qualifications encompass a BSc in Statistics, ongoing executive education from Wharton, and management certifications from Harvard Business School Online.
