Thomas Owens, PE has a strong and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Thomas started their career as an Intern at Callanan Industries, Inc in May 2002. After that, they joined Bette & Cring Construction Group in May 2003 as a Project Management Intern and worked in that role until May 2005. Thomas then progressed to become a Project Manager at the same company from May 2005 to September 2021. From September 2021 to November 2022, they served as a Senior Project Manager before being promoted to the role of Project Executive in October 2022. Currently, Thomas holds the position of Vice President at Bette & Cring Construction Group, starting from January 2023.

Thomas Owens, PE completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University from 2001 to 2005. Thomas obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including Confined Space Entry Safety Training from Capital Safety Services in March 2016. In June 2013, they received the Professional Engineer (Civil / Construction Engineer) certification from the New York State Education Department. In September 2011, they achieved the LEED AP - Building Design & Construction (BD+C) and LEED Accredited Professional certifications from Green Business Certification, Inc. Lastly, in September 2008, they obtained the OSHA 10 Hour (Construction Safety and Health) certification from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA.
