Amanda Milani Noakes

Amanda Milani Noakes is an experienced professional in global decent work and human rights, currently serving as Senior Global Decent Work and Human Rights Coordinator at Better Cotton since February 2022. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as Programme Manager for the Trafigura Foundation and Puma Energy Foundation from January 2018 to January 2022, managing projects related to fair and sustainable employment and clean supply chains. Additional experience includes serving as UN Liaison for Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain, and roles in research and advocacy at various organizations including Geo Expertise, Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy, UNHCR, and Global Environmental Society. Amanda holds an MA in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a BA in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London.
