Jacob Koch

Jacob Koch has extensive work experience in treasury and financial management roles. Jacob'smost recent position is as the Head of Treasury (VP) at Better Energy, where they are responsible for overseeing treasury operations. Prior to that, they worked as the Group Treasurer at European Energy A/S, where they built up the treasury department and focused on cash visibility, optimizing financial costs, securing funding options, and managing risk exposure.

Before that, Jacob held the role of Senior Treasury Manager at Nets Denmark A/S, where they managed group cash management, implemented hedging strategies, and optimized working capital. Jacob also worked at PANDORA A/S as a Senior Manager, where they focused on working capital, group planning, and analysis.

Earlier in their career, Jacob served as the Financial Director at Snøhetta in New York, where they were responsible for financial activities, project management, and coordination with the parent company. Jacob also worked as a Program Manager at Coloplast, where they led a global working capital reduction program.

Prior to that, Jacob held positions as Head of Treasury at Sterling Airlines A/S and SEB Kort. Additionally, Jacob obtained an HD-1 qualification from Aarhus University between 1998 and 2000. Jacob also completed the Prince 2, foundation course in Project Management in 2012. Furthermore, Jacob attended the SEB Internal Management School in 2007 to study the Situational Leadership Platform. Prior to their higher education, they attended Fredericia Amtsgymnasium from 1990 to 1993 and Erritso Centralskole from 1981 to 2000.
