Alex Ellis-White

Alex Ellis-White serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Leeds Community Foundation since May 2024 and is the Founder and Chief Executive of Better Giving Partnership, a registered charity established in January 2016 aimed at transforming charitable giving in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Prior to these roles, Alex held significant positions within the NHS, including Communications Business Partner Manager at NHS Digital, where strategic communications for national transformation programmes, including the NHS App and Covid-19 initiatives, were led. Earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Communications Officer at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, where responsibility was held for internal communications, and various communications roles at Leeds City Council, managing strategic communications, marketing, and customer service communication initiatives. Alex began a career in customer service improvement at Asda as a Customer Service Project Officer.
