Michael Polen

Michael Polen has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Better Health Group, a national primary care platform. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Vice President and National Medicare CEO at Centene Corporation, where they led the transformation of the Medicare business, resulting in significant growth in membership and revenue. Before that, they held various executive and leadership roles at WellCare Health Plans, including Executive Vice President, National Medicare CEO, and Senior Vice President, Enterprise Operations. Michael also has experience in finance, operations, and business planning and analysis. Earlier in their career, they worked at J.P. Morgan as an Associate Vice President.

Michael Polen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Decision and Information Sciences from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance at the University of South Florida, completing their studies from 2002 to 2003.
