Juliana Ekong

Juliana Ekong has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field since 2001. Juliana began their career at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as the Director of Adult Psychiatry Clinics. In 2005, they moved to Anthem, Inc./ Amerigroup as the VP of Behavioral Health in the Government Business Division. In 2015, they joined Quartet Health as the Chief Medical Officer and in 2017, they became a Psychiatric Consultant at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. In 2018, they began their roles at Cityblock Health as both an Associate Chief Health Officer and a Behavioral Health Consultant. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Better Life Partners.

Juliana Ekong received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Harvard Medical School between 1992 and 1996. Juliana then completed a Fellowship in Public Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center- New York State Psychiatric Institute from 2000 to 2001. Before that, they earned an AB from the University of Chicago between 1989 and 1992. Juliana also completed a Psychiatry Residency at Columbia - Presbyterian.
