Karen Rauenhorst

Karen Rauenhorst has extensive experience in leadership and governance within various nonprofit and educational organizations. Currently serving as Board Chair of the Better Way Foundation and as a Board Member for the Catholic Relief Services governing Board, Rauenhorst also holds the position of Vice Chair of the Board for the National Catholic Educational Association since June 2017. Previous roles include Board Member for the Catholic Relief Services Foundation and Chair of the Board of Directors at the Better Way Foundation. Rauenhorst has served as Acting President at St. Catherine University and was a member of the Board for Catholic Relief Services. Earlier in their career, Rauenhorst contributed as Board Member and Chair for Catholic Charities. Rauenhorst holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Creighton University.
