Ginger Patton-Schmitt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ginger began their career at Kutak Rock in 1995 as a Litigation Associate and then moved on to Paul Hastings in 1997, where they served as a Litigation Associate for over two years. In 2006, they became a Partner at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP after Morris, Manning & Martin acquired a portion of Patton & Fletcher, L.L.C.

In 2008, they joined Agnes Scott College as the Director of Planned Giving and then transitioned to American InterContinental University later that year, where they served as an Assistant Professor in the Business Department.

In 2010, they assumed the role of Development Director at the Truancy Intervention Project, Inc. until 2011.

In 2012, Ginger Patton-Schmitt joined Better World Books as the EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Ginger also runs their own firm, The Patton Schmitt Firm, Inc., where they serve as an Attorney/President.

Ginger Patton-Schmitt attended Agnes Scott College from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Education. Prior to that, they briefly attended The University of Georgia in 1985 with a focus on Journalism. Later, from 1992 to 1995, they attended the University of Georgia School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, specializing in Law.
