Emma Margetts

Emma Margetts is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services and startup sectors. As co-founder of BetterCents, acquired by ClearScore, and co-founder of Alpha Exchange Ltd, which was acquired by Visible Alpha (now S&P Global), Emma has demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen in building innovative platforms for capital markets. Emma serves as a mentor and advisor at Techstars Boulder Accelerator while previously holding key positions at Visible Alpha, including Global Head of Sell Side Services and Head of European Operations. Emma’s background includes roles at Investec Asset Management and the Business Learning Network NGO, along with involvement in the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance. Academically, Emma holds a B.Com in Economics & Finance and a Post Graduate degree in Financial Analysis & Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town.
