Scott Winship

Scott Winship has an extensive work experience. Scott is currently the Co-Founder of BetterCents, a position they have held since June 2021. Previously, they were the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Alpha Exchange Ltd from June 2016 to January 2022. Alpha Exchange is a next-generation investment research exchange for the capital markets community. In November 2017, Alpha Exchange was acquired by Visible Alpha, where Scott continued to serve as the Co-Founder and Co-CEO until January 2022. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Scott worked as a Fund Manager at Investec Asset Management from 2012 to 2016 and as a Senior Investment Analyst from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they participated in the Alpha Exchange - NYC Class of 2016 program at Techstars.

Scott Winship attended the University of Cape Town from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Business Science degree with a field of study in Business/Commerce, General. From 2008 to 2010, they also studied at the CFA Institute, focusing on Accounting and Finance.
