Boris Portman

Boris Portman is the founder and CEO of Salsa Ventures, LLC, investing in high tech startups and real estate. Boris is also the founder and CEO of BetterEngineer, specializing in building distributed software development teams. Boris serves as a mentor at Techstars, a CTO at WastePlace, and on the Alumni Advisory Board for Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, Boris has advised companies like Siminars, DreamIt Ventures, BlinkSend, and Descuento Libre. Boris holds a MSE in Software Engineering and Business, as well as a BS in Computer Science, Math, and Business from Carnegie Mellon University.
