Amara Humphry

Amara Humphry is the Senior Vice President of Product at BetterLesson, where Amara has been contributing since June 2025. As a co-founder of GiveThx since 2017, Amara has focused on building inclusive communities through gratitude. Previously, Amara served as the Head of R&D at Abl from July 2017 to August 2025, emphasizing equity and innovative product design in education technology. Earlier in 2017, Amara held the role of Head of Product and Entrepreneur In Residence at Leadership Public Schools, concentrating on metacognitive skills and tool development. Amara co-founded Gooru, where the mission centered on enhancing access to education for over one million students and teachers globally. As the founder of Pinchd, Amara created products aimed at connecting millennials through local activities. Amara began the career as a Design Research Intern at Orange in 2008 and holds a BS in Product Design from Stanford University, completed in 2009.
