Veronica Freeman has a wealth of experience in the education field. Veronica began their career in 2007 working as a Substitute Teacher and Elementary Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. In 2010, they transitioned to Vaughn Next Century Learning Center as a Math Teacher, where they developed curricular units and created online videos of lessons for student use at home. In 2013, they moved to BRIDGES Charter School as a 4th/5th Grade Teacher, designing, researching, and piloting a variety of multimedia curriculum in all subject areas. Since 2019, they have been working as a Learning Designer and Instructional Coach at BetterLesson, where they identify goals and actionable strategies with educators, facilitates workshops in-person and virtually, and applies knowledge of adult learning to effectively engage teachers in coaching cycles of measuring and reflecting on implementation of classroom practices.
Veronica Freeman graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Veronica began their studies at the university in 2003.
