Rachel Peterson, CPCC, CNTC, PCC is an International HR/OD Professional and Professional Executive Coach with over 30 years of experience. Rachel has worked with corporate clients from start-ups to multi-national corporations worldwide, providing thought-partnership and guidance as they gain greater clarity, build confidence, and create their definition of leadership.
In 2009, Rachel began their own business, www.RachelPeterson.com, where they provided bilingual (English/Spanish) strategic professional development for executives, managers, and leadership coaching and mentoring for clients in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Ireland, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Romania, Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Mexico, Chile, Mexico, Israel, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, India, Singapore, The Philippines, Australia, and throughout the US and Canada.
In 2018, Rachel began working with BetterManager as an Executive Coach and Mentor Coach.
Prior to this, Rachel was the Lead Coach and Mentor for Fintrac Inc. from 2011 to 2018. From 2007 to 2011, they were the HR Director for Deno Gold Mining, a 1500-employee zinc and copper mining operation. Rachel was an International Leadership Specialist with their own business from 2001 to 2007. From 1998 to 2001, they were the Director of Finance and Administration at Abt Associates. From 1997 to 1998, Rachel was the Country Director for Bosnia i Hercegovina at Mercy Corps. From 1990 to 1997, they were an International Development Specialist at Development Alternatives, Inc. From 1989 to 1990, Rachel was a Project Manager for Indefinite Quantity Contracts at Checchi and Company Consulting, Inc. and a Master's Fellow for the Foreign Affairs & National Defense (FAND) Division at the Congressional Research Service.
Rachel Peterson has a diverse educational background. Rachel obtained a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coach Federation in December 2016, a Certified NeuroTransformational Coach (CNTC) certification from BEabove Leadership in 2016, a Certified Practitioner certification from The Leadership Circle in May 2012, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) certification from The Co-Active Training Institute in April 2010, and a Certified Facilitator certification from Training Resources Group, Inc. in 2007. Rachel also obtained a BetterManager Executive Coach certification from BetterManager in November 2022. Rachel holds a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from Drew University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Foreign Affairs and Latin American Studies from Penn State University. Rachel also graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School.
