Amanda Thurman RRT

Amanda Thurman RRT has worked in the respiratory therapy field since 2006. Amanda began their career at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, where they worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and instructed/trained new employees. In 2008, they began working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist - PRN at Maury Regional Medical Center. In 2010, they started at Medical Necessities & Services, LLC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. In 2015, they began working at Verus Healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, providing virtual respiratory care for Cpap, Bipap and O2, as well as compliance monitoring and education. In 2019, they started at Home Medical Products, Inc. as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, providing home, office & virtual Cpap/Bipap setup and education, as well as Cpap/Bipap and sleep disorder disease management. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Sleep Care Specialist III at BetterNight.

Amanda Thurman RRT obtained their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist from Columbia State Community College in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Diploma from Columbia Central High School in 2004.
