Wayne Hiegert

Wayne Hiegert has a diverse work experience ranging from construction to education to various leadership roles. Wayne started their career as a Science Teacher and Head Coach in different school districts, where they taught multiple subjects and achieved regional and state championships in football, strength and conditioning, and track. In 1992, Wayne became a Business Owner, overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including contract negotiation, project estimation, and ensuring building code compliance. Following that, they joined the Polo Custom Products, Inc. in 2002 as a Regional Sales Manager, eventually progressing to the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In this position, Wayne provided leadership in sales, marketing, and business development, working closely with inside and outside sales representatives, managing key accounts, and leading contract negotiations. In 2018, Wayne joined the Bettis Companies as the Director of Corporate Strategy, Marketing and Sales, responsible for targeting new customers, enhancing existing relationships, developing business opportunities, and creating marketing plans. Wayne also facilitated communication and cooperation between all operating entities within the Bettis Group of Companies.

Wayne Hiegert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry Education from Kansas State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1989.
