Yvonne Phillips

Yvonne Phillips has over 22 years of statistical analysis experience and is highly skilled in applying data mining, visualization, and machine learning methods (i.e., regression, clustering, text analytics) to business and research problems. Yvonne is adept at using her data analytics skillset to create strategies for advancing sustainability goals and for being a partner for change. She is technically proficient in SAS, R, and Tableau with a proven track record in predictive modeling work across government and the insurance, finance, and retail industries.

Yvonne has served as senior statistical modeler and manager for over 13 years at LexisNexis. She is the primary content developer and lead trainer for CDC’s Data Science Academy.

Yvonne is a recognized consultant and speaker in data science and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Morehouse College, teaching computer science and data science. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Spellman College and a Master of Science in Decision Science from Georgia State University’s Robinson College.
