Javier Otero Harman

Javier Otero Harman has over 9 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 2012, they began their career as a Private Banking Assistant and Investment Analyst at Banco de Crédito BCP. In 2015, they joined Credicorp Capital as a Stock Broker, where they offered investment advice to private banking clients. In 2016, they became a Senior Analyst at AC Capitales, where they co-managed a mix strategy real estate fund with geographic focus in Peru. In 2018, they joined Awayco as a Finance Manager and Business Development, where they managed the platform’s accounting and financial division for three entities. In 2019, they became the Interim Chief Executive Officer at The Superfood Company. In 2020, they joined B89 as the Chief Expansion Officer, where they were responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of new market entries and global partnerships. Javier currently serves as the Head of Partnerships, Growth & Expansion at Tebca Perú and the VP Business Development at NovoPayment, a Banking as a Service technology enabler.

Javier Otero Harman has a diverse educational background. In 2017-2018, they earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Disruptive Innovation from Hult International Business School. In 2020-2021, they earned a Certificate in Fintech from Pacífico Business School. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: AI in Fintech Essential Training (August 2020) and Learning Secure Payments and PCI (June 2020). Finally, they earned a Licenciatura in Gestión Empresarial from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2006-2012.
