Lonnie Schubert started their work experience in 1996 at ARINC, where they held the position of a Metallurgical Engineer. Lonnie was responsible for various duties related to metallurgy, materials identification, quality verification, corrosion investigation, and failure analysis. Lonnie worked at ARINC until 2008 and then joined DRS Technologies, C3 & Aviation Company as a Deputy Director. In this role, they served as a lead engineer and engineering manager, overseeing projects. Lonnie worked at DRS Technologies until 2014. Currently, Lonnie is employed at Bevilacqua Research Corporation as a Support Engineer, starting in 2021.
Lonnie Schubert completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. From 1988 to 1995, they pursued their undergraduate education at this institution. Concurrently, Lonnie Schubert also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Lonnie attended the University of Missouri-Rolla from 1987 to 1995, indicating that they pursued their master's degree alongside their undergraduate studies.
