Itai Danovitch

Itai Danovitch serves as the Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences and the Director of Addiction Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since July 2008. Danovitch is also the Associate Director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the same institution. Additionally, Danovitch holds positions on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Addiction Medicine and Bexson Biomedical, and has been a Commissioner for the Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission since January 2016. Danovitch previously served on the Board of Directors for Science 37 and was President of the California Society of Addiction Medicine from October 2013 to October 2015. Danovitch earned an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and an MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, following a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
