Derek Lee

Derek Lee has over three decades of work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Derek is currently serving as the Head of Sales Operations at Beyond Air®, a position they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Cepheid as the Director of US Commercial Leadership Development from October 2020 to August 2021.

From 2019 to 2020, Derek Lee worked at DJL Business Services, LLC as the Director of Business Development and Key Consultant. Before that, they held the position of Training & Development Lead at Helius Medical Technologies, a biotech startup, from August 2018 to February 2019.

Derek has extensive experience in training and development, as seen from their previous roles. At Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they worked from May 2016 to July 2018, they served as the Senior Director of Commercial & Medical Training and Development, leading a team and designing workshops for national meetings and continuous development resources.

Prior to that, Derek held various positions at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals starting from 2009, where they executed a multi-faceted role and contributed to the expansion and integration of the company. Derek also worked at Schering-Plough as a District Manager and Director of Management Training & Development.

Derek Lee's career started at Pfizer in 1986, where they held several roles such as Sales Representative, District Manager, Senior Manager of Training & Development, and Senior Area Business Manager.
