Dave Leimsieder

Dave Leimsieder is an experienced leader in recreational and youth development programs, currently serving as the Interim Executive Director at Beyond Emancipation since February 2020. In addition to this role, Dave is a Board Member and Head Coach for the San Francisco Vikings Soccer Club, overseeing the 6th Grade Werewolves Boys Recreational/Developmental team. Previous positions include Recreation Services Manager for the City of Alameda and Acting Director of Recreation & Parks, where Dave managed various recreational programs and park activities. Dave has also served on the Family And Children's Trust Committee in Contra Costa County, held the Associate Director position for Youth Programs at UC Berkeley, and directed operations for the Boys & Girls Clubs in Contra Costa and Greater Salt Lake. Early career experiences include roles in program coordination and physical education within school districts and community organizations.
