Vice President, Development – North America at Beyond Green

Christopher Ahlgrim has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotel development and membership services. Christopher is currently the Vice President of Development for North America at both Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Beyond Green, where they oversee the expansion of independent hotel brands. Prior to this, they held various roles at Global Hotel Alliance, including Regional Head of Development for the Americas and Head of Membership Services and Development. Additionally, Christopher has been involved in the Young Travel Professionals organization as a member of the Board of Directors in Philadelphia. Earlier in their career, they worked in travel industry sales and marketing at Omni Hotels and served as the Principal and Brand Director at Bergen-Wild, LLC.

Christopher Ahlgrim completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Business Administration from Elon University in 2006. Prior to that, they attended Watertown High School in Watertown, NY and obtained their high school diploma in 2002. In 2016, Ahlgrim enrolled at The Wharton School to pursue the GBTA Global Leadership Professional Program. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Financial Strategy and Value Creation, as well as Strategy Accelerators: How to Win Today and Tomorrow, from Wharton Executive Education in the same year. Ahlgrim also holds a Global Travel Professional (GTP) Certification from the GBTA | Global Business Travel Association, although the specific year of obtainment is unknown.
