Ismail Mustafa

Ismail Mustafa has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as an Engineering Manager at Beyond Identity since April 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at the same company starting from September 2019. Ismail also worked as a Software Engineer at Apple from September 2018 to September 2019 and at Tentrr from May 2018 to September 2018. Ismail had previous software engineering roles at Handwriting.io from September 2016 to April 2018, where they also completed a software engineering internship from May 2016 to August 2016. Ismail worked as the Lead iOS Developer at Globacal Technologies, Inc. from May 2015 to January 2016. Ismail co-founded a startup called Viral Labs LLC in May 2014, where they developed an iOS app called "Crowsnest". Ismail also had an internship at Samsung Electronics in 2013, where they coded a plugin for imageJ. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at Columbia University from September 2012 to May 2013, where they assisted with large-grain MoS2 growth research. Ismail also received Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technologies Training at Penn State University in 2012 and gained experience as an Oilfield Technician at Uni-Arab Engineering and Oil Field Services from May 2011 to August 2011.

Ismail Mustafa holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from New York University, which they obtained in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia University in 2014, with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.
