Jerry Mao

Jerry Mao has over 13 years of work experience, primarily in software engineering roles. Jerry is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Beyond Identity, where they started in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at DailyPay, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2020 to September 2021.

Jerry has also held roles as a Software Engineer at Cargo Systems Inc. from April 2019 to January 2020 and at Discovery Inc. from March 2018 to April 2019. Jerry worked as a Full Stack Engineer at MedCircle from November 2016 to March 2018 and as an Engineer in Residence at Codesmith LLC from July 2016 to November 2016.

Before transitioning into software engineering, Jerry worked as a Contractor at Panda Restaurant Group from 2014 to 2015. Jerry also served as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2014, where they worked on research projects. In addition, Jerry gained experience as a Research and Development Intern at STANDARD CHEM & PHARM CO., LTD. from June 2011 to August 2011, where they assisted in lab work and data collection for the development of pharmaceutical drugs.

Jerry's earlier experience includes a Summer Internship at Wells Fargo in 2008. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in software engineering and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Jerry Mao attended UC Santa Barbara from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences. In 2016, they briefly attended Codesmith, although they did not complete a degree or field of study there.
