Gyan Prakash Karn 👨💻

Gyan Prakash Karn has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Gyan Prakash started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Crio.Do, where they worked on implementing RESTful CRUD API endpoints and building and deploying workspace infrastructure on AWS. Gyan Prakash also automated start-up tasks using Ansible and researched storage solutions on GCP and AWS.

Gyan Prakash then interned as an SDE at Amazon, where they implemented a modular React Native frontend and enhanced search functionality by implementing a custom Trie. Gyan Prakash also developed a backend service using Spring Boot and AWS DynamoDB.

Gyan later worked as a Participant in a Software Product Sprint at Google, where they collaborated with a team to design and implement a web application using Java Servlets, Vanilla JS, and Google Cloud Platform APIs. Gyan Prakash followed industry best practices and gained experience in open-source software development, Git, and code reviews.

At SendX, Gyan worked as a Software Engineer and implemented various projects such as building the SendHealth platform and creating an SMTP Relay Infra. Gyan Prakash automated TLS certificate generation and renewal for wildcard domains and optimized storage using bash scripts.

Gyan Prakash also interned at Amazon as an SDE, where they migrated pages from WebView to React Native and worked on the Send to Self feature.

Most recently, Gyan joined Customer.io as a Software Engineer 2. Gyan Prakash collaborated with the team to implement a fallback modal system, enhanced integration, and implemented MMS support within the message composer.

Throughout their career, Gyan has demonstrated their skills in full-stack development, mobile development, infrastructure building, automation, and collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Gyan Prakash Karn attended Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra from 2017 to 2021 and earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Technology. In 2018, Gyan Prakash Karn obtained the ICPCID certification from ICPC - ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. Additionally, in August 2021, Gyan Prakash Karn obtained the AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
