Jonathan Shapira

Jonathan Shapira is the current VP and General Counsel at Beyond Identity. Jonathan has also served as the Vice President and General Counsel at Claroty from July 2018 to December 2020, and at Cybereason from May 2016 to July 2018.

At Claroty, Jonathan helped manage the company's 5x growth in ARR, 2x growth in headcount, $65 million Series D financing led by Temasek and Bessemer Venture Partners, and global expansion in North America, Europe, and APAC. Jonathan also served as a legal advisor to the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance, strategic transactions, commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property, privacy and data security, and other corporate matters.

At Cybereason, Jonathan helped manage the company's global expansion, 10x growth in number of customers, 8x growth in ARR, 3x growth in headcount, and $100 million Series D financing led by SoftBank. Jonathan served as a legal advisor to the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance, strategic transactions, commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property, privacy and data security, and other corporate matters. Prior to joining Cybereason, they served as the Company's outside legal counsel for three years, advising on the Company's venture capital financings, strategic investment by Lockheed Martin, Japanese joint venture with SoftBank, and other corporate and finance matters.

Jonathan Shapira's educational career includes a J.D. from Boston College Law School, an M.A. in Jonathan'story of International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College. Jonathan also has a General Course in Government from the LSE and a Diploma from Buckingham Browne & Nichols (BB&N).

They are on a team with Ashwin Rana - Chief Solutions Architect, Bill Hogan - Chief Revenue Officer, and Patrick McBride - CMO. Jonathan Shapira reports to Thomas Jermoluk, CEO & Co-Founder.
