Security Architect at Beyond Identity

Monty Wiseman has extensive work experience in the field of security architecture and engineering. Monty currently holds the position of Security Architect at Beyond Identity, where they started in 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Trusted Computing Group from 2000 to 2021, where they served as a Contributor Advisor to the Technical Committee and Co-Chair of the Infrastructure Working Group.

From 2016 to 2021, Monty worked at GE Global Research as a Principal Engineer and Cybersecurity Architect. In this role, they provided security and TPM enabling consulting for various sectors, such as Aviation Engines and Systems, Power, Grid, Renewables, Transportation, and Healthcare. Monty also led efforts for industry standards improvement in security for industrial controllers.

Before joining GE Global Research, Monty was a Principal Engineer and Security Architect at Intel from 2000 to 2016. Monty held various engineering positions at Novell from 1992 to 2000, where they specialized in security issues and integrated Novell's NDS directory into partner products.

Starting their career in 1989, Monty worked as an Operating Systems Engineer at Sanyo/Icon International, where they designed and implemented drivers and utilities for PC and Unix systems. Prior to that, they were a BIOS Engineer at Fujitsu Microsystems of America from 1983 to 1989, where they designed BIOS and device drivers for the FM-16 PC.

Monty also has experience as a Contract Engineer at Intel Corporation in 1982 and as a Customer Support Engineer at Data Control Corporation from 1979 to 1983, specializing in mainframe CPU and peripherals troubleshooting and repair.

Monty Wiseman attended San Bernardino Valley College from 1973 to 1975, where they pursued a degree in Chemistry. Monty completed their studies and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
