Carla Martin Chinarro

Carla Martin Chinarro's work experience includes being a Materials Scientist at Beyond Leather Materials ApS since November 2020, where they focus on research and development of a sustainable alternative to animal-based leather. Prior to this, they worked as an intern at Université Grenoble Alpes during the summer of 2019, where they carried out a project on "Modelling of large compression deformation of gold nanocrystallites." Carla also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Aarhus University from October 2017 to May 2018.

Carla Martin Chinarro obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Carla then pursued further education and obtained another Bachelor's degree in the same field from Aarhus University from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, Carla enrolled in Grenoble INP - Phelma and completed a Master of Science degree in Functionalized Advanced Materials Engineering (FAME+ Erasmus Mundus program) in 2019. Lastly, in 2019-2020, they attended the Université catholique de Louvain and obtained a Master of Science degree in Functionalized Advanced Materials Engineering (FAME+ Erasmus Mundus program). Additionally, Carla achieved a Diploma in December 2017 for successfully completing an experimental project under the SPOMAN Open Science collaboration.
