Hany Ahmed

Hany Ahmed has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Hany currently holds the position of Senior Manager, NLP Applied Scientist at Beyond Limits since September 2022.

Prior to this, Hany worked at RDI (The Engineering Company for Digital Systems Development) for a significant period of time. Hany started in September 2013 and held various roles within the company. From May 2017 to September 2022, they served as the AI Research and Development Director, where they built cross-functional AI teams and provided technical guidance for ML projects. Hany also served as the Application Department Manager from June 2016 to July 2019, leading IT teams in network implementation and collaborating with engineers and product teams on software architectures. Additionally, they served as the AI Research and Development Lead from September 2014 to September 2017, where they focused on advanced engineering, ML science, and analytics. Finally, from September 2013 to September 2014, Hany worked as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher, conducting research on AI and machine learning algorithms.

Prior to their work at RDI, Hany had experience as a Research Assistant at the American University in Cairo from September 2010 to September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and validating algorithms and working in an applied R&D environment.

Overall, Hany has demonstrated expertise in advanced engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence through their various roles in both industry and academia.

Hany Ahmed has a strong background in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Hany pursued their education at Cairo University, beginning with a Bachelor's degree that they earned from 2005 to 2010. Hany then went on to complete a Master's degree in the same field, attending Cairo University from 2013 to 2016. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a higher level of expertise by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, which they achieved from 2018 to 2021. Throughout their education, Hany has maintained a focus on the study and application of Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, consistently building upon their knowledge and skills in this field.
