EMEA - Devops Manager, Unstructured Data Intelligence at Beyond Limits

Majd Jamaah has an extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure. Starting in 2019, Majd worked as a DevOps Consultant at Waseet.net, where they optimized costs for AWS infrastructure, migrated legacy services to Docker microservices architecture, and implemented CDN Cloud Front. In the same year, they also worked as a Cloud Architect & DevOps Engineer at Baaz, Inc., where they managed interviews, onboarding, and ramp up for DevOps joiners, dockerized services, and upgraded and re-architected the infrastructure.

In 2020, Majd took on the role of a DevOps Consultant at LXT, leading the DevOps team, building and managing the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, and implementing Kubernetes on GKE for production. Majd also became a DevOps Consultant at CyberTalents, where they provided DevOps expertise.

In 2021, Majd joined Google as a Cloud Champion, participating in the Innovators program on Google Cloud and contributing to the Cloud community. Majd also became a Program Mentor for the Google for Startups Accelerator: Middle East and North Africa, supporting seed to Series A tech startups.

In 2022, Majd worked as a DevOps Consultant at REEF, managing EKS on production deployment and assisting with nonfunctional tasks. Majd also joined Beyond Limits as a DevOps Manager EMEA - Unstructured Data Intelligence, leading the DevOps team, building the DevOps culture, and constructing the MLOps framework.

Throughout their career, Majd has also been recognized as a Google Cloud Expert in the Google Developers Experts program and has been an active member of the Google Developers Group, serving as a Community Organizer and Cloud Mentor.

Overall, Majd Jamaah has demonstrated expertise in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Kubernetes, along with a strong commitment to supporting and contributing to the technology and startup ecosystems.

Majd Jamaah completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Engineering from Yarmouk University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Khaled Ben Al Waleed High School from 2009 to 2012, obtaining their General Secondary Education Certificate.

In addition to their formal education, Majd Jamaah has obtained various certifications. In 2018, they received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. The following year, in 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification, both also from Amazon Web Services. Additionally, they received the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect and Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer certifications from Google in August 2019. Most recently, in May 2020, Majd Jamaah obtained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from The Linux Foundation.
