Kaitlin McCloud

Kaitlin McCloud currently serves as a Mechanical Engineer at Beyond Meat since February 2021. Previously, Kaitlin held the role of Primary Author/Investigator at the University of Alaska Anchorage. During June to December 2018, Kaitlin was an Undergraduate Student Researcher involved in a student-led research project titled “Development of Fractal Hinge Compliant Mechanisms: Model, Analysis, and Experimental Design,” which entailed designing and testing innovative flexure hinge compliant mechanisms using FEA software, including SolidWorks and ANSYS, complemented by multiple prototype experiments with a custom test apparatus.
