Nickolas Zourmpakis

Nickolas Zourmpakis has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Nickolas currently works as a Software Engineer at Beyond, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, from December 2019 to February 2022, they worked as a Back End Software Engineer at RCS Technologies Greece. In 2019, they also worked briefly at Plum Fintech as a Back End Engineer from August to November.

In their earlier career, Nickolas worked at Pakia as a Software Engineer for four years, from August 2015 to July 2019. During this time, they were responsible for developing core features for data gathering and analysis between the main platform and insurance companies. Nickolas used various technologies such as Python Flask, MongoDB, MariaDB, Celery, and Redis.

Before Pakia, Nickolas worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Virtual Trip Ltd for a brief period from May to August 2015. Nickolas also gained experience as a Lab Assistant at the Institute of Mathematics in Heraklion, Crete from February to July 2015.

Nickolas Zourmpakis completed their education with a Master's degree in Informatics from the University of Crete in 2018. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2014, they pursued a five-year Diploma (MSc equivalent) in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras. Nickolas obtained their High School Diploma in General Education, Technology Oriented, from 7o Lykeio Hrakleiou between 2004 and 2007.

In addition to their academic degrees, Nickolas Zourmpakis has also acquired several certifications. Nickolas obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Michigan University in May 2003. In November 2014, they completed the GRE revised General Test conducted by ETS. Furthermore, they achieved the TOEFL iBT certification from ETS in February 2014.
