David Gerbino has over 20 years of experience in marketing and information technology. David began their career in 1996 as a Project Manager for DMW Worldwide. During their time there, they project managed 9 one-to-one targeted bank merger communication programs and saved the client 22% per mail piece by designing a new data validation methodology. In 2000, they joined Experian (Marketing Information Technologies, Inc. Division) as an Account Director, where they reduced the marketing costs of a retention direct marketing program by 50% while maintaining strategic goals.
In 2001, David began their own consulting business, David Gerbino Consulting. During this time, they increased donor income by 20% via database optimization and database marketing training, doubled worker efficiency by recommending and building a new technology solution for an engineering firm, and created the digital marketing strategy for 3 clients.
In 2004, they joined Sterling National Bank (formerly Provident Bank New York) as an AVP, Digital Product, Marketing and Strategy Manager and AVP, Research and Database Marketing Manager. During their time there, they discovered $150,000 of annualized savings via marketing analytics, achieved $25,000 of annualized savings by launching the bank's first email marketing program, and improved email marketing engagement by 20 basis points by migrating to the Responsive Email Design paradigm.
In 2013, David joined NYPAY as the Director of Marketing Strategy, Board of Directors, and Events Committee. During their time there, they were responsible for hosting evening events in NYC since 2006.
In 2015, they joined Harmoney.io as a FinTech Advisor. In 2018, they joined Beyond the Arc, Inc. as a Consultant. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Further Advisory as a Consulting Partner.
David Gerbino received their BS in Marketing from Clarkson University in 1987, with a major in Marketing Research and Information Systems. In 2005, they completed a Certificate in Bank Management from America's Community Bankers - National School of Banking.
