Fabio Marzullo, D.Sc.

Fabio Marzullo, D.Sc. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Fabio is currently the Head of Engineering at BeyondRisk, a cybersecurity company that specializes in data operations. Prior to this, Fabio served as a Contract Software Engineer at BairesDev. Additionally, they founded and owned MZ Participações, MZ Unlimited LLC, and MZ - Empresarial, demonstrating their entrepreneurial skills. Fabio also has experience in the education sector, serving as a Technical Coordinator at the Polytechnic School of UFRJ and as a Professor at Escola Politénica da UFRJ. Fabio has expertise in software development and game-based learning, which is evident from their roles as a Reviewer for the International Journal of Game-Based Learning and as the Owner & Founder of Best Nerds Games Studios. Fabio's expertise extends to areas such as business intelligence, big data, blockchain-based business management, artificial intelligence, and machine learning as the Owner & Founder of Sinn Tecnologia.

Fabio Marzullo, D.Sc., has a diverse educational background in computer science, computer engineering, economics, and law. Fabio obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2002. Following this, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering from the same university in 2006. In 2009, they pursued an MBA in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, specializing in Economics and Business Management.

In 2014, Marzullo went on to pursue their Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Computer Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Fabio also obtained additional certifications including the SCJP - Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems in 2002 and a certification in Services Architecture from IEEE in 2008.

To expand their knowledge in blockchain technology, Marzullo attended a short-term program on Blockchain Technology at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2019. Additionally, they completed a course on Data Protection and LGPD (General Data Protection Law) at LEC - Legal, Ethics & Compliance in the same year. Fabio further extended their expertise in law by attending a course on Contract Law at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2019 and 2020.

Marzullo's pursuit of knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning led him to complete a Post Graduate program at Columbia Engineering in 2020.
